Travelling light works here. Leave coats and bags in the apartment; you're close enough to duck back at half time if you need to.
A short walk home, then debrief the match over a barbecue on the residents' terrace or a swim in the indoor lap pool.

Searching for hotels near Marvel Stadium usually comes down to two questions: how close is it, and how do we get home. West Side Place is directly across Spencer Street from Southern Cross Station, and from the station the Bourke Street pedestrian footbridge leads to the stadium, so on event nights you can walk instead of queueing for a tram. Driving to a Marvel Stadium Event? Parking at West Side Place
Parking is where our two apartments differ. The 3-bedroom includes one free secure underground space (level B3), so you can leave the car in the building and walk to the stadium. The 2-bedroom has no parking included.
If you are driving to the 2-bedroom, the Southern Cross Station car park is run by Care Park. Its entry is at the corner of Spencer and Lonsdale Streets. It is open 24/7, has a 2.1 m height limit and takes card payment only. Care Park publishes its own early-bird and event rates, so check carepark.com.au before you travel.
